The Seelbach site is the heart of the company, where all strategic decisions - both technical and commercial - are made. JULABO was founded here by Gerhard Juchheim in 1967 and until the beginning of 2025, the entire production of temperature control instruments took place at the headquarters.
Situated in the idyllic landscape of the climatic health resort of Seelbach in the Black Forest, the location is not only a symbol of tradition, but also of innovation and the very international orientation of JULABO.

JULABO bundles central functions and important production processes at its headquarters in Seelbach. In addition to administration and the research and development department, the comprehensive special device construction is also located here. The entire electronics and the PRESTO, VALEGRO and other recirculating cooler series are manufactured here. Furthermore, the Technical Service is based in Seelbach and provides customers worldwide with first-class support.
