New Member of the VALEGRO Family

The VALEGRO family has a new addition. With the VALEGRO 250, JULABO is launching a compact unit in the entry-level price range. From now on, this new chiller replaces the popular F250 compact recirculating cooler from the F series. 

What’s new compared to the F250? In short: The VALEGRO 250 offers significantly more features while remaining almost identical in price. As a result, it stands out in particular for its excellent value for money. 

New compared to the F250, but typical of the VALEGRO family, is the inclined OLED touch display. Clear menu navigation and functions such as a timer and level indicator ensure simple and ergonomic operation while providing maximum clarity. Another advantage over the F250 is the significantly lower sound pressure level, allowing the unit to operate whisper-quietly and contributing to a more comfortable working environment in the laboratory.

Thanks to its comparatively wide working temperature range of -15 until +40 °C and the adjustable pump, the VALEGRO 250 covers a wide range of typical laboratory applications, such as temperature control applications for small reaction vessels, measuring cells, laboratory lasers, or compact analytical instruments. In addition, the standard integrated USB and RS232 interfaces allow for simple control of this modern chiller when needed.

Unlike the F250, the new VALEGRO 250 - like all other VALEGRO models - operates with natural refrigerant. This gives it a very low GWP (Global Warming Potential). Moverover, this conserves resources and meets future environmental standards. 

Conclusion: The new VALEGRO 250 is a worthy successor to the F250, a bestseller that has been enormously popular with customers for many years. It is particularly well-suited for routine laboratory applications and, thanks to its low purchase price, pays for itself in a short time.
