Hassle-Free Operation Through Regular Maintenance

Our goal is to ensure that you can work successfully with your JULABO units for many years to come. Regular maintenance helps extend the life-time of your unit, maintain consistently high performance/output, and prevent unnecessary downtime. At the same time, wear and tear, anomalies, and potential disturbances/malfunctions can be detected and eliminated early on.

What does JULABO maintenance include?

As part of the maintenance process, our service technicians inspect the general state/condition of the unit as well as all functions and components relevant to the specific unit. The exact scope depends on the equipment type and features.

Maintenance includes, among other things:

• Visual inspection of the unit, electrical connections, wires, hoses, interfaces, and sockets
• Function-specific cleaning of relevant technical components, such as the electronics, the condenser, or any filters
• Check of the temperature controle, control behavior, and temperature stability
• Temperature measurement and, if necessary, recalibration of the temperature sensor
• Inspection of important safety devices, such as the over-temperature shut-off, the level switch, and the fuses
• Control of the heating system and pump, including relevant measurements
• Inspection of refrigeration components and cooling capacity
• Control for corrosion, moisture ingress, unusual operating noises, and other abnormalities
• Inspection of hoses and hose connections for cracks, embrittlement, and secure fit
• Assessment of the state/condition of the bath fluid or temperature-control fluid in use
• Installation of available firmware updates

Minor repairs are included as part of maintenance. If additional repairs or replacement parts are needed, we will provide you with our clear recommendation. These will be carried out only after consultation and a separate order. Any necessary replacement of the bath fluid or temperature-control fluid will also be coordinated with you.

Transparent Documentation

Upon completion of maintenance, you will receive a comprehensive maintenance report. In it, we document the tests performed, the results obtained, any anomalies identified, and any recommended follow-up measures. This provides you with a transparent overview of the state/condition of your Unit.

Regular Maintenance—Without the Hassle of Planning

Once you’ve signed a preventative maintenance contract, you no longer have to worry about scheduling your regular maintenance yourself. We’ll help you ensure the hassle-free long-term operation of your JULABO units—providing greater planning certainty and peace of mind in your daily operations.

In addition to maintenance at our repair center in Seelbach, we also offer on-site service within Germany. An additional flat-rate travel fee applies for this service.
