Have it Your Way: Customized SemiChill Recirculating Coolers

For applications requiring a Temperature Control Unit (TCU) with cooling capacities of 2.5, 5 or 10 kW tailored to specific needs consider the JULABO SemiChill products. The SemiChill TCUs provide a customized approach to liquid temperature control applications: a variety of options from cooling capacity, temperature range, heating power, circulating pumps, electronics and in-line filtration. These systems can accommodate the use of deionized water, water/glycol mixtures, silicone oils and HFE fluids in external fluid circuits. The SemiChill are suitable for applications in the biotech, chemistry, semi-conductor and processing industries.
Cooling Capacity
SemiChill units are available with 2.5 kW, 5 kW and 10 kW cooling power at 20 °C. Air or water-cooled versions of the 2.5 kW and 5 kW models are available while the 10 kW system is water-cooled only. When equipped to -20 °C capability the 10 kW system provides 2.4 kW cooling power at -20 °C.
Electronic Options
All models can be equipped with either Eco or Professional electronics. The Eco option includes:
The 2.5 kW systems can be configured in 3 temperature ranges without a heater or with a 1 kW heater. Temperature ranges include: +5…+35 °C; -20…+35 °C; -20…+80 °C.
The 5 kW and 10 kW systems encompass the above temperature ranges with an additional -20…+130 °C option. The 5 kW and 10 kW units can be equipped with 5 kW and 12 kW heaters.
Circulating Pumps
All SemiChill units have ¾” male NPT inlet / outlet fittings with a 33 L/min, 50.8 psi 2-speed centrifugal pump. A stronger pump is available for the 5 kW and 10 kW systems with 43 L/min and 62.4 psi.
Filtration
In-line DI water and micro-filter options are available on all units for applications requiring high-purity water. Filtration media cartridges from 10, 25, 40, 100 and 250 microns are available. These in-line filters must be installed at time of purchase.
